Pride Shabbat Dinner & Erev Shabbat Service

Solel’s Pride Shabbat Celebration! Join our whole community as we celebrate Pride Week with a community dinner followed by a special Erev Shabbat service.
During our service we’ll speak with a former Solelnik turned Rabbi and LGBTQ+ advocate living in North London?! What?! We will be hearing from our very own Rabbi Emily Reitsma-Jurman as she shares her journey with us. Here is a small teaser: Rabbi Emily is originally from Brampton, Ontario and graduated from York University. She completed her Rabbinate at Leo Baeck College in London, England and is now Associate Rabbi for the West London Synagogue of British Jews. She lives in North London with her wife, Dr. Renée Reitsma-Jurman, their two cats, and their housemate and best friend, Rabbi Adam Frankenberg. To get the full story – and for many, the full update – you’ll have to wait until June 16! Please RSVP to Solel’s office by June 12.
Please contact the Solel Office to RSVP by June 12 for dinner. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and the service begins at 8:00pm.
